Andy Mason

Andy co-founded Palmares Capital Partners after previously being a Managing Director at VRA Partners and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. His background includes roles in investment banking, private equity, and corporate finance with organizations like River Capital, Trivest Partners, and GE Capital.

Throughout his career, Andy has developed extensive expertise in middle-market transactions, having completed numerous successful investments and advisory engagements across various industries. His collaborative approach to working with business owners aligns perfectly with Palmares non-control investment philosophy.

Prior to co-founding Palmares, Andy served as Co-Head of the Private Markets Group at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, where he was instrumental in building the firms private equity and debt placement capabilities. He also served on the Investment Committee of SunTrust Equity Partners, gaining valuable experience in evaluating and structuring equity investments.

Andys early career included positions at River Capital and Trivest Partners, where he honed his skills in transaction execution and portfolio company management. He began his career in the Corporate Finance Group at GE Capital, where he gained foundational experience in credit analysis and deal structuring.
